Swati Parikh (pronounced “Swathee Pareekh”)(she/her/hers) is a career and leadership coach, and an expert on social justice and public sector career paths.
Swati’s focus in her career has always been on finding work that contributes to the greater good - this has led her to an extensive career in higher education leadership, career advising, professional development, pro bono management, and public interest law.
Swati began her career as a public interest housing lawyer, and while there she took on running the organization’s internship and pro bono programs. She realized early on that her real strengths were her people and program management skills, her empathy and listening skills, and her commitment to helping others.
This led her to work in higher education, where, as the Assistant Dean for Public Service and Pro Bono Initiatives at New York Law School, she has helped thousands of individuals get clear on their career goals by coaching them through major life decisions.
She became a private career and leadership coach to broaden her impact and continue working with mission-driven professionals and lawyers who want to find more joy, ease, and meaning in their careers, while also finding a balance with their interests and goals in their personal lives. She finds a lot of fulfillment in mentoring and coaching others.
Swati lives with her family in Brooklyn, and loves exploring the city, prioritizing time in nature, hiking, yoga, cooking, knitting, and cultivating her many indoor plants.
