About Sarah

Sarah Beller (she/her) is a coach and facilitator who helps women & nonbinary folks connect with their inner guide, navigate their career journey with a fierce and full heart, and do their life's work.

Since founding her coaching & community building practice Realize Change in 2018, Sarah has worked with over 200 clients on 6 continents (all except Antarctica!) in three main practice areas: career/job transitions, leadership growth, and venture development.

As a career coach, Sarah works with mid-career professionals considering or embarking on career transitions – helping them untangle the angst of these pivotal moments and chart a way forward that they’re truly excited about.

As a leadership coach, Sarah supports social impact leaders to show up fully in their work – to own their strengths, use their voices, cultivate belonging, and make a positive impact.

As a social entrepreneurship coach, Sarah helps people bring their ideas to life by ditching perfectionism and embracing a spirit of playful experimentation.

Sarah’s coaching style combines analytical approaches (ex. creating a matrix of the scenarios you’re considering) and somatic ones (ex. creating physical movements to embody your strengths) for a potent, holistic coaching experience.

Previously, Sarah devoted a decade of her career to building movements that speak out on pressing issues like the global refugee crisis. She is especially familiar with the US-based nonprofit sector, including social change advocacy and direct service organizations.

Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in social anthropology from Harvard University and her masters degree in international peace and conflict resolution from American University. She is a recipient of the Partners in Justice Award for visionary leadership for social justice from Avodah: the Jewish Service Corps.

When she’s not coaching, you can find Sarah playing with her kids and partner, making music, and sneaking moments of peace and quiet in the urban wilderness of Washington DC.

Testimonials

★★★★★

“Working with Sarah was a transformational experience for me and I can't recommend her highly enough! I had recently quit a job and was feeling lost, stuck and disillusioned when I began coaching with Sarah. Her presence, energy, insights and guidance helped me return to myself, get back in touch with my core values and has set me on a new career path. I am energized and excited about where I am and where I am going.”
